Thompson's Frame and Gallery has been providing unparalleled service to the greater Atlanta area for the last 30 years. What started as a small family framing business in South Carolina grew and expanded first to Birmingham and eventually made its way to Atlanta.  

Despite the 1980’s being a great decade, thanks to Michael Jackon and U2, the framing world was in need of something new and innovative. At that point in time, most “mom and pop” shops were owned by artists, who put more emphasis on the piece of art, and not the actual framing experience. That made it difficult for customers to find a shop with diverse selection, quick turnaround time, and a team of creative experts ready to provide exceptional customer service. 

It has been said that every great business idea comes from solving a common problem. And for the Thompson family the solution seemed simple enough. By eliminating the middleman, having in-house inventory, and by focusing on creating a space for clients to bring their art and their stories… things began to shift. This new experience completely changed custom framing and went above and beyond customers’ expectations. What was once an accessory, is now a showcase for the beautiful artwork it protects.
